The company from Schio (Vicenza) brings to Rimini a new vision of vending:
a multi-application environment that enables simple and immediate remote configuration and management of machines.
Also on display is the evolution of the brand’s historic products, from the new Skudo (cold range), redesigned for outdoor installations, to Lydia Plus (hot range), equipped with new sales and payment features.
Vendix, part of the FAS Group, will also be present with solutions for the pharmacy sector.
FAS International, a Vicenza-based company (from Schio) and one of the leading players in the vending and retail tech market, will present at Venditalia 2026 its new Retail Tech Suite, a multi-application environment that enables machine management and configuration, telemetry usage, sales data visualization and analysis, and the management of restocking and maintenance processes. The platform is modularly designed, offering operators a wide range of features that can be activated and purchased according to their operational needs, with maximum flexibility in service composition. This innovation is part of the strategic and product vision that has characterized FAS International in recent years: retail tech, understood as the integration of digital technologies serving retail, placing consumer needs at the centre and transforming them into solutions for operators and machine managers. Thanks to an omnichannel approach, which integrates physical and digital channels into a single coherent ecosystem, FAS connects web apps, e-commerce, stores, vending machines, and other physical touchpoints that can share data and behaviors, delivering personalized, measurable, and conversion-oriented interactions.
Presence at Venditalia (Rimini, May 6 – 8, 2026)
From May 6 to 8, at Rimini Expo Centre (Hall D3, booth 067), FAS International will showcase its technological ecosystem for vending, integrating hardware and software solutions developed for retail, vending, and foodservice sectors. Also on display will be the expertise of other FAS Group companies: Alturas, a software house specializing in advanced management platforms, and Vendix, focused on customized automated solutions for pharmacies and tobacco shops.
FAS International will also take part in the industry innovation debate, with CEO Francesco Cantini speaking at the conference “AI and vending: how artificial intelligence will transform automated distribution,” scheduled for Thursday, May 7 at 10:30 AM (Hall C2), organized by Confida.
Retail Tech Suite and FAS Cloud, the latest developments in remote control solutions
The most anticipated innovation at Venditalia is Retail Tech Suite, a multi-application, integrable and scalable platform developed in collaboration with Alturas. Retail Tech Suite hosts the new FAS Cloud, the remote configuration and control tool for FAS machines, redesigned both in graphics and functionality. It allows more intuitive and powerful remote monitoring, configuration, and management of the entire machine fleet through a simple and immediate interface. The new Retail Tech Suite infrastructure also acts as a data analysis tool, powered by multiple heterogeneous sources. This enables the collection, integration, and structured organization of data over time, supporting in-depth analysis. A new Alturas management software is also introduced, now available in a cloud-based version. From revenue management and customer portfolio handling to restocking operations, everything has been renewed to provide a connected experience that performs best when machines are equipped with telemetry.
“Cold” range: the new Skudo for outdoor environments
The user interfaces (UI) of the new Skudo, an evolution of a previous model, are designed to simplify the customer journey from product selection to payment and to enable various features aligned with sustainability and accessibility, including energy-saving functions and tools that facilitate use by people with disabilities. Redesigned for installation in public spaces, with particular attention to safety, robustness, and ease of use, it introduces a 7” vandal-proof touchscreen UI, facilitating the purchasing process and the use of integrated digital payment systems, and includes native 4G connectivity. The option of a protective cover allows the machine to be installed in stand-alone outdoor mode.
“Hot” range: Lydia Plus offers enhanced functionalities
Like the new Skudo, Lydia Plus is a vending machine featuring a renewed design and technologies aligned with the Retail Tech strategy, equipped with a FAS digital platform integrated with Retail Tech Suite and FAS Cloud. The Lydia Plus system is based on a new 14” touchscreen tablet with native 4G connectivity and a new electronic platform, designed to enhance the user experience and enable features such as UI configurations tailored to the usage context, up-selling and cross-selling, bundled sales, and integrated digital payments.
Vendix’s Retail Tech solutions for pharmacy and tobacco sectors
Vendix solutions are also focused on retail technology. The brand positions itself as a solution center for automated sales in the pharmacy and tobacco sectors. Through advanced vending machines, Vendix integrates digital technologies, advanced payment systems, and installation and after-sales services, enabling each point of sale to connect to an intelligent, remotely manageable ecosystem. An exhibition area will be dedicated to the DD06 Touch and DD18 Touch models, vending machines specifically designed for the pharmacy channel, ideal for installations in environments with limited space but high performance and security requirements.
«FAS International presents at Venditalia a highly technological and clearly structured offering across all its segments – said FAS International CEO Francesco Cantini –. We are diversifying our offering and making our machines increasingly intelligent and aligned with new market needs, following a development plan that will see significant investments in technology, innovation, and artificial intelligence in the coming years.
AI is a powerful accelerator that allows us to remotely monitor machine performance through predictive diagnostics and cloud-based alerts, offer customization of recipes and product assortments to support promotions and marketing activities, enhance after-sales service through rapid analysis of reports, and improve assortment selection.
Thanks to the new potential offered by AI, our Retail Tech strategy has proven successful even in a challenging macroeconomic context, in which we have continued to invest to improve the quality of our products, particularly in the hot range. To support our growth, we plan to accelerate in extravending, leverage AI to continue reinventing vending, and focus on servitization, shifting attention from product to service and helping customers operate products effectively and generate long-term value».
